Chris Newmas ist DJ, Produzent und Veranstalter mit über zwei Jahrzehnten Erfahrung auf nationalen und internationalen Bühnen. Aktiv seit Ende der 90er-Jahre steht er für treibende, emotionale DJ-Sets zwischen House, Techno und groovigen Soundscapes – immer mit einem sicheren Gespür für den Moment.
Neben seinen Auftritten ist Chris auch als Produzent aktiv und veröffentlicht Tracks, die seine Handschrift zwischen treibender Energie und tiefem Soundgefühl tragen.
Als Gründer des Kollektivs „Party-Fraktion WAT“ initiierte er prägende Eventreihen wie „Techno-Culture“ und „HomeBass“. Seine musikalische Reise führte ihn von lokalen Clubs bis hin zu Beachclub-Residenzen europaweit – mit einem besonderen Highlight: Seit 2005 ist Chris immer mal wieder Teil der legendären Street Parade Zürich, mit eigenem LoveMobile am Start.
Auch auf Festivals ist Chris mit seiner eigenen Stage vertreten, auf der er ausgewählte Artists präsentiert und musikalische Visionen kuratiert – energiegeladen, hochwertig und mit echtem Szene-Charakter.
Als Co-Founder und Resident DJ der Open-Air-Eventreihe „DeepSchell“ prägt er die Deep-House-Kultur im Ruhrgebiet maßgeblich mit. Unter dem Format „Chris Newmas & Friends“ bringt er zudem deutschlandweitbesondere Line-ups auf die Floors und in die Clubs.

Chris Newmas is a DJ, producer, and promoter with over two decades of experience on national and international stages. Active since the late 1990s, he is known for driving, emotional DJ sets that move between house, techno, and groovy soundscapes – always with a keen sense for the moment.
In addition to performing, Chris is also an active producer, releasing tracks that reflect his signature blend of rhythmic energy and deep atmospheric vibes.
As the founder of the collective “Party-Fraktion WAT,” he launched influential event series such as “Techno-Culture”and “HomeBass.” His musical journey has taken him from local clubs to beach club residencies across Europe, with one standout highlight: Since 2005, Chris has frequently taken part in the legendary Street Parade in Zurich, often with his own LoveMobile.
Chris is also known for hosting his own stage at festivals, where he curates handpicked artists and musical visions – energetic, high-quality, and full of underground spirit.
As co-founder and resident DJ of the open-air event series “DeepSchell,” he plays a key role in shaping the deep house scene in Germany’s Ruhr region. With his format “Chris Newmas & Friends,” he brings unique line-ups to clubs and festivals across Germany.
